Samoa in the past month or so....

Talofa,

Short and sweet...

To Real Man - why not man up and put your REAL name in your letters when being ever so judgemental of people, their work and their lifestyles. One should always remember the words of the Good Book, that it is God that is judge. God and not a pea-brained Bible basher like you. Instead of trying to be controversial with your letters why don't you pray for those you see straying from God? In the end we are all sinners... even you REAL MAN! You seem to be a bible basher... Bible bashers are so - called Christians that turn people further away from God with your whole holier than thou attitude. Those are the same attitudes of the Pharisee's who condemned Christ to the Cross. If you are so fervent in your thoughts about what you ranted on about... why not fast and pray for them? Instead of judging others, look at your own life and take that plank from your own eye first. Judge not lest you be judged!

The Girl's Explicit Video - thoughts and prayers go out to you, young lady. God guide you and may you always remember this isn't the end of the world! Pick yourself up because you have a great friend in Christ! Forgiveness is the key here and may I remind the public of this one statement - E fa'avae ile Atua Samoa. If this is true, lets not be hypocrites by casting the first stone. Soia ia le fia mama! What has happened is shameful so lets not poke and prod at this girl any longer but instead pray for her and her family. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE makes mistakes and we are all far from perfect! And why isn't there any criticism of the person that started the circulation of this private video? Victimizing the poor girl will only lead to much more heartache for all involved.

The Man Made Beach - man made beach at the location this fella wants it will be a disaster. If you enjoy swimming with sharks than by all means, go and enjoy this man made beach, IF its even approved. This idea is highly irresponsible in terms of environmental conservation and protection. Our reefs have already taken batterings from the numerous cyclones we have experienced and by the reclaiming that was done in the early 1990s as well as the construction of the existing seawall. All those developments have killed off much of the reef in that area so why would you want to contribute to that cycle of destruction? Enough already! Lets leave it as it is and enjoy the scenery. We ARE NOT nor will we ever be Waikiki. Why would tourists come to such a place when they have that at home. Places like Japan and some countries in Europe now have their own indoor man made beaches. Lets take pride in our natural surroundings. Focus on Eco - Tourism. Focus on eco - tourism because in the end, its a win - win situation for everyone involved. Tourist operators make money and in turn we protect our already fragile eco-system. Business is business BUT one must always be mindful that no matter how many studies we do and no matter how much money we make, the destruction of mother nature will always find a way to bite us in the bum. I advise our Government to focus on revamping Palolo Deep and put in a management team that will actually do well in the upkeeping and protecting of the wildlife in that vicinity.

Soifua ma ia manuia,
